PingoMe Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

PingoMe (at pingome.com) is operated by Stellarus Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation ("Stellarus," "we," or "us"). This policy explains how to cancel a paid PingoMe membership, our no-refund stance, what happens to your games afterward, and how support contributions are treated. It's meant to be read on its own, in plain English, and it works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • Cancel anytime, online, by yourself. No phone calls, no chat-with-retention, no hoops.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. You keep your member features until then, and you won't be charged again.
  • All sales are final — we don't issue refunds, for first purchases or renewals. Cancel stops the next charge; it doesn't refund the last one.
  • We fix genuine billing errors. A double charge, a charge after you cancelled, a processing mistake — tell us and we'll make it right.
  • Support contributions are final too — they're voluntary and buy nothing, so there's nothing to return.
  • Nothing in this policy limits refund rights the law of your home jurisdiction guarantees you.

How to cancel

  1. Sign in to PingoMe and open the pricing page.
  2. Click Manage subscription — this opens the Stripe billing portal.
  3. Choose Cancel and confirm.

That's the whole process. The portal confirms on screen, and Stripe sends a confirmation email. If you can't use the self-serve path for any reason (for example, you can't sign in), send a message through the contact form and we'll cancel it for you.

When cancellation takes effect

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month — the month you've already paid for. You keep full member access until that date, you won't be charged again, and canceling mid-month doesn't trigger a partial refund for unused time (see "No proration" below).

Stopping auto-renewal

PingoMe memberships renew automatically each month until you cancel. Canceling, as described above, is exactly how you stop auto-renewal — they are the same action.

Our no-refund policy

We don't issue refunds. Not for first purchases, not for renewals, not for partial months. Here's our reasoning, plainly: PingoMe memberships are inexpensive, monthly, and cancelable in three clicks — and a month's games can be fully used the day they're purchased. A refund window on that shape of product mostly invites using everything and then unbuying it, which isn't fair to the missions this product supports. So instead of a refund window, we give you an easy exit: cancel anytime and keep what you paid for through the end of the month.

What we absolutely do fix — billing errors:

  • a double charge or duplicate subscription;
  • a charge after your cancellation took effect;
  • a processing error on our or Stripe's side.

Report any of these through the contact form and we'll refund the erroneous charge promptly. Error refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, typically appearing within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

No proration

If you cancel partway through a billing month, you keep member access through the end of the month rather than receiving a partial refund. You get everything you paid for, and there's no math to argue about.

Support contributions are final

Support contributions (at /support) are voluntary, buy no product or service, are not charitable donations, are not tax-deductible, and are final. Because a contribution purchases nothing, there is nothing to return — though we will, of course, fix processing errors (a duplicate charge, an amount different from what you chose) exactly as described above.

What happens to your games when you cancel

  • Your account stays open as a Free account — canceling a membership never deletes your account.
  • Games keep the retention window they were created with. A game made under Basic keeps its 90 days; a game made under Enterprise keeps its 365 — even after your membership ends. Nothing is deleted early because you cancelled.
  • New games you create after cancellation follow Free-plan limits (1 game/month, 20 guests, 30-day retention).

If you want games — or your whole account — deleted sooner, ask through the contact form.

If we cancel or discontinue the paid service

If we suspend or terminate your membership because you violated the Terms of Service, no refund is owed. If we discontinue paid memberships or shut down a paid feature you bought, we'll refund the unused portion of what you paid on a prorated basis — discontinuation is on us, not you.

EU / UK note

PingoMe is offered from the United States and isn't currently marketed to consumers in the EU or UK. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy to address EU/UK withdrawal rights before doing so.

A note on chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, please come to us first through the contact form — we resolve billing problems faster than a card dispute, and we genuinely fix our mistakes.

Governing law · Changes · Questions

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, with venue in Delaware, as set out in the Terms of Service; nothing here takes away consumer rights your home jurisdiction guarantees regardless. If we change this policy we'll post the update here with a new date, and notify members by email before material changes affect them. Questions about billing or cancellation: the contact form — a real person at Stellarus reads every message.

Changelog. July 18, 2026: v2 initial publication — no-refund policy (with billing-error exceptions), monthly-only plans, end-of-period cancellation with no proration, per-game retention preserved after cancellation, support contributions final.
