PingoMe Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
PingoMe is a People-Bingo icebreaker game operated by Stellarus Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation ("Stellarus," "we," or "us"), available at pingome.com (the "Service"). This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you may and may not do with the Service. It applies to everyone who uses PingoMe — hosts who create games, guests who join them, account holders, and organizations that use PingoMe with their communities — and it is part of our [Terms of Service].
PingoMe games run on real answers from real people. That is what makes the game fun, and it is also why these rules exist. Most of this policy is common sense; the sections on community packs are stricter, because those games involve people at tender moments in their lives.
If any part of this policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control. This AUP is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, as described in the Terms.
1. General rules — everyone, every game
Whether you are hosting a birthday party game or running a community pack, you may not use PingoMe to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate anyone — including through the questions you write, the answers you submit, or the way you use printed cards.
- Post hateful content. No content that demeans or attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or similar characteristics.
- Do anything unlawful, or encourage or facilitate unlawful activity, including violating others' privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.
- Impersonate another person or organization, or submit answers pretending to be someone you are not. (Entering answers on behalf of someone who asked you to — or on behalf of a child under 13, per our age policy — is fine and expected. Pretending to be someone without their knowledge is not.)
- Exploit or endanger minors in any way. Content that sexualizes, exploits, or harms children is prohibited, will be removed, and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Post obscene or sexually explicit content, or content depicting graphic violence.
- Use the game as a pretext to collect personal information about participants for purposes outside the game (marketing lists, background research, surveillance, doxxing).
You also may not interfere with the Service itself:
- No scraping, harvesting, or bulk collection of game data, guest names, or answers, whether by hand or by automated means.
- No security probing — no penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, code enumeration, or attempts to bypass access controls without our prior written permission.
- No attempts to access games or codes that are not yours. Game links and organizer codes are capability keys: guessing, brute-forcing, phishing, or otherwise trying to obtain a game link, organizer code, or account you were not given is prohibited, even if you succeed.
- No disruption — no overloading the Service, introducing malware, or circumventing rate limits, fair-use limits, or technical restrictions.
- No reselling or white-labeling the Service without a written agreement with Stellarus.
2. Content standards for custom questions
Hosts write their own questions, and we want that creativity. But some things must never be asked through PingoMe, because answers become bingo squares printed on other guests' cards. Do not write questions that solicit:
- Health or medical information — diagnoses, conditions, medications, disabilities, mental-health status, treatment history.
- Financial information — income, debts, account numbers, credit details.
- Government identifiers — Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, or similar.
- Immigration or citizenship status.
- Details of anyone's sexual life or sexual orientation.
- Precise location information — home addresses, current whereabouts, daily routines, or a child's school.
The line to keep in mind: every answer in a PingoMe game is shared with the whole game by design. Never ask for something a guest would regret seeing printed on a stranger's bingo card.
Guests: the same categories apply to your answers. If a question invites something on this list, skip it or answer with something else — and feel free to report the game to us (Section 7).
3. Community packs and sensitive contexts
PingoMe plans to offer community question packs designed for settings like grief support groups, senior living communities, and divorce support groups. These packs exist to help people connect during hard seasons — and using them carries extra responsibilities. If you host a game in a sensitive context (with or without our packs), these rules apply:
- Dignity first. Questions and gameplay must treat participants' circumstances with respect. The game is a bridge between people, never a spotlight on anyone's pain. Do not use PingoMe to pressure anyone into disclosures they have not freely chosen to make.
- The host is responsible for consent. Before the game, make sure participants understand how PingoMe works — that their answers will appear as squares on other participants' printed cards — and that joining is genuinely voluntary. Nobody should feel obligated to play or to answer any particular question.
- The host is responsible for emotional safety. Read the room. Adapt or drop questions that don't fit your group. If a participant becomes distressed, the game stops mattering; the person matters. PingoMe is a social game, not therapy, counseling, or a clinical tool, and it must not be presented as one.
- Answers stay in the game. Do not repeat, publish, share, or make any use of a participant's answers outside the game session — no social media posts, no newsletters, no records — without that participant's explicit permission. This applies to hosts and guests alike, and it applies with extra force in sensitive contexts.
- Extra care with vulnerable adults. When participants may have diminished capacity to consent — for example, some residents of memory-care or assisted-living settings — the host must ensure participation is appropriate for each person, consistent with any applicable facility policy, guardianship arrangement, or family guidance. When in doubt, a trusted staff member or family member can enter answers on a participant's behalf, with the participant's involvement to the extent they are able.
4. Facilities and organizations (B2B use)
If you use PingoMe on behalf of a facility or organization — a senior living community, care facility, school, counseling practice, or similar — the following expectations apply in addition to everything above:
- Staff-supervised use. A responsible staff member or authorized volunteer must run each game session and remain accountable for it.
- Resident and participant consent per your policies. You are responsible for obtaining whatever consent your facility's policies, licensing requirements, and applicable law require before residents or participants join a game. PingoMe's built-in flows do not substitute for your consent procedures.
- No medical or health data in answers. Do not use PingoMe to record, collect, or transmit health information about residents or participants. PingoMe is not a medical record, is not designed to store protected health information, and Stellarus does not sign business associate agreements for HIPAA purposes. Keep answers to social, biographical, get-to-know-you content.
- Your compliance obligations remain yours. Using PingoMe does not shift your regulatory or licensing responsibilities to Stellarus.
If your organization needs a data processing agreement or has facility-specific requirements, reach us through the contact form at pingome.com/contact before rolling PingoMe out.
5. Children
The Service is for ages 13 and up. Children under 13 must not use PingoMe directly; a parent, guardian, or the game host may enter answers on a child's behalf. Hosts running games where children are present — birthday parties, classrooms — are responsible for keeping questions and gameplay age-appropriate and for handling children's answers with the same care described throughout this policy. A parent or guardian may request removal of a child's information at any time via the contact form.
6. Enforcement
We want to keep enforcement proportionate. Depending on the severity and circumstances of a violation, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to fix the problem;
- Remove content or an entire game, including community-pack access for that game;
- Suspend or terminate your account (for account holders) or your access to the Service, without refund where the Terms of Service so provide.
We reserve the right to skip steps for serious violations — child-safety issues, security attacks, threats of violence, and unlawful content in particular may result in immediate removal and termination, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate. We may also take action required by law regardless of this ladder.
We are not obligated to monitor games, and in general we do not — game content is code-gated and private to its participants by design. Enforcement is primarily driven by reports.
7. Reporting a problem
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy — as a guest, a host, a parent, or a facility — please tell us through the contact form at pingome.com/contact. Include the game link if you have it and a description of the issue. We review every report. If you report in good faith, doing so will never count against you, even if we ultimately decide no violation occurred.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP as PingoMe evolves — for example, when we add new community packs or features. We will post the updated version at this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes affecting account holders we will give notice as described in the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
